?Distant Satellites? was recorded at Cederberg Studios in Oslo with favoured producer Christer-André Cederberg. Alongside additional mixing by Grammy Nominated Steven Wilson, Anathema also brought in the legendary services of Dave Stewart (Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson) to create the new album?s extraordinary orchestral arrangements.

?Distant Satellites? was one of the most celebrated and lauded albums of 2014 and will surely be recognised as their finest album to date. It is a gleaming anthology of beautifully crafted songs, performed with vitality, verve & utmost passion, once again demonstrating the sublime, instinctive song writing talents of the Cavanagh brothers and drummer John Douglas.
