Status Quo je britská rocková skupina, která vznikla v Londýně v roce 1962. Skupinu původně tvořili Francis Rossi (zpěv, kytara), Alan Lancaster (baskytara), Rick Parfitt (zpěv, kytara) a John Coghlan (bicí). Jejich původní jméno bylo "The Spectres" a později "Traffic Jam", než se konečně stali v roce 1967 Status Quo. Skupina je známá svým charakteristickým stylem zvaným "boogie rock" nebo "quorock," což je kombinace rocku, boogie a blues. Skupina získala popularitu svými energickými živými vystoupeními a jednoduchými, ale chytlavými písněmi. Mezi jejich největší hity patří skladby jako "Rockin' All Over the World", "Caroline" a "Whatever You Want." Status Quo je jednou z nejdéle fungujících rockových skupin na světě. I když se sestava měnila během let, Rossi byl jediným členem, který zůstal od počátku.
