With 83 never-heard songs, the Collection The Lost Albums completes the chapters of Springsteen's 35-year (1983-2018) career and offers a great insight into his life and work. The artist himself says about The Lost Albums: All these LPs are completed albums - some of which were even about to be mixed - which were never released. In recent years, I have often listened to them or played them to close friends and am glad that you finally have the opportunity to hear them. I hope you like them.

Starting with the low-fi songs on the LP LA Garage Sessions 83, which beats the bridge between Nebraska and Born in the U.S.A., to the tracks dominated by drum loops and synthesizers on Streets of Philadelphia Sessions, the collection proves the complexity of Springsteen's songwriting and also shows [| Homerecording, which Bruce Springsteen explains thus: Thanks to the possibility of recording at home whenever I wanted to, I could experiment with all kinds of music genres.
This joy of experimentation is reflected in the long players on The Lost Albums. So we listen to Faithless songs for a movie that has never been filmed and on Somewhere North of Nashville arrangements in country sound with Pedal Steel Guitar. Masterfully told stories from the borderland, the album offers Inyo, while orchestral sounds await us on Twilight Hours as in a film noir of the 1950s. Perfect World in turn is the sign of the arena rock in e-street style.

The Lost Albums will be released on June 27th as a limited edition featuring nine LPs. In addition, the collection will be available on seven CDs and in digital version. Each of the collected albums received its distinctive cover and the set also includes a 100-page fabric-bound booklet. Here, the fan will find rare archival photos, liner notes by journalist Erik Flannigan, and a personal introduction by Bruce Springsteen.
